Reading this thread, it sounds like DCBL will be wasting the courts time again0

Ruttwood said:Apologies to double post, but I've just stumbled across this post about Highview not giving the proper notice for keeper liability according to the PoFA - is this still something that can be used in a defence? If so I will amend my defence to reflect.Keep going through the phases by each due date and your case will hopefully find its way to this current thread. Have a read of that to fill some time, you can take considerable encouragement from it.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Have you admitted being the driver in previous correspondence?1
-
The OP was planning on admitting to driving in this defence, and if so then forget the POFA and stuff about Notice to Keepers.
It's one or the other.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think Coupon-mad is right.
Whilst I have never admitted to Highview or DCB that I was the driver, I was, and I definitely don’t want to get into trouble for lying to the court!1 -
Hi all,
Just wanted to provide an update to this.
I followed all advice as provided on the forums, I received my allocation date and time at the start of the year, I had prepared my witness statement and supporting evidence ready to submit, but on the 25/01 I received an email from DCBLegal stating they were discontinuing the claim, and had attached an N279 notice of discontinuance.
I would imagine I will receive some correspondence from the court at some point confirming this, but looks like another one bites the dust!
Thanks again for everyone's help!5 -

And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation?
We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA and roboclaim 'legals' gaslighting of people.

TRAGIC REALLY ?1 -
It did seem like a waste of everyone's time in the end, but without the guidance here I probably would have felt pressured into settling with one of their email offers.
Thanks all!Coupon-mad said:
