No extractor fan in kitchen?

My father in law is hoping to move into an apartment or bungalow and sell his house due to mobility problems, he was had a survey done to make sure everything was up to date and it was apart from one thing, he has no extractor fan in the kitchen or bathroom. He loves to cook with his gas cooker and has done so for over 40…

Mine didn't have an extractor fan.
Unless I was making chutney where you boil water off for a long time or a pressure cooker it didn't get condensation. I'd just open a window.
Buyers will want to install their own kitchen so unlikely this would affect the sale. They can easily install an extractor..

Location and sound building are the main thing people want.
