Confused is a understatement.

 I missed a few payments with Aqua on my credit card so they sent my account over to Moorcroft where we agreed a payment of £50 pm on 4k debt which is taken every month off my debit card automatically without fail on payday.
 it has never been missed, but on searching my credit file Aqua are saying i missed payments in the last four months. surely if my account as been passed over to moorcroft to collect how come aqua are saying im not paying. How do i address this. Surely if Moorcroft is collecting it Aqua have sold the account on to them.

What was the amount of your contractual monthly payment ?

I assume it was more than the £50 agreed with Moorcroft, so you are not making your contracted monthly payment, your just paying the £50, hence your credit file will show your account as being in arrears, and behind with your payments, as your breaking the terms and conditions of your consumer credit act agreement.

It makes no difference what arrangement you made with Moorcroft, anything other than full contractual repayment will result in a missed payment marker.
