Haggling can result in big savings – on anything from digital TV and broadband to credit cards, breakdown cover and insurance. Each year we try to gauge the success rates of those who have done it. We managed to haggle our Virgin Media monthly bill down from £60 to under £30, but it required a lot of persistence (and time on the phone) as we went around the houses and got fobbed off a few times. We've already marked on the 2022 calendar when we'll need to do this all over again...0
