I bought tickets for comedy in the park in Southport back in October 2020 for the gig in June 2021. Booked hotel etc and 2 weeks prior cancelled and moved to the following year and instead of a weekend gig its now a mid week gig. Straight away I asked for a refund and was told as per term 46 its a Covid issue so tough. I'm positive that this term was added after I bought the tickets but I'm finding it impossible to clarify. Does anyone know how to find out when Term 46 was added to the terms and conditions.

Have you asked them when the term was added?
One potential problem is that you may have agreed to a new contract when agreeing to the postponement. What emails/paperwork do you have for the various stages?0 -
Presumably you are looking at online T&Cs?
There are various websites that take occasional snapshots of sites and store them enabling you to see previous versions however its hit and miss on all but the largest sites if they contain the ones you want (eg Internet Archive: Wayback Machine)
That said, term 46 is a force majeure clause and not Covid specific; its a very standard term in contracts and I'd be surprised if it hasnt existed since the start of the site.
I can see a snapshot from 18 Nov 2019 which has clauses about non-refundable if event changes but not explicitly listed as Force Majeure. The next snapshot is 8 Aug 2020 at which point the exact Force Majeure wording as it currently is was in place.
You say that the gig was Oct 2020 but when did you buy the tickets? If it was after 8 Aug then the term was certainly there, if it was before that exact term may not have been but the previous terms already said a rescheduling of an event didnt lead to an automatic refund right.0
