How would I lauch a legal action against this scheme (https://www.warmerhomes.org.uk)?
might it be that the closure date for the scheme will not be an issue anyway
Well no, if the scheme and the companies involved are no longer contracted, they'll just move on and my case will just be left as an unfortunate 'loose end'.
I'm certain they're not acting in good faith and this is a scam. They've 'assured' me I'm still eligible but they can say anything.
Like, I said, the head of Dyson Energy (the installation company) already lied to me about the installer getting in touch. He then fobbed me off to the 'other office' who then batted me back the other way. Rinse and repeat. It's been like this throughout the whole 15 months.
I've contacted my MP but not sure it'll make my difference as he'll probably just say something like 'Oh, you need to contact the scheme and ask them'.....you know, meaningless advice.
Each part of the scheme is sub contracted out to somebody else and therefore when chasing anything up you're just batted around between the company managing the scheme, the surveyor companies, and the installer company. Each body knows exactly what to say to delay the application. My point is that the contracts are already held and the funds already allocated to cronies in the form of new housing projects where contract holders get kick backs. Because I'm an outlier, I'm an irritation who has to be fobbed off. See my other posts.
