    He literally did come and just look at the plastered walls in the end 😂
    Thanks for everyone’s responses, made me less stressed about it. 

    And there will be a charge of a couple of hundred quid for the privilege of him having time out of the office.

    Our beam was inspected after installation, then when completely covered. I'm not sure if it should really have been inspected with the fire board unskimmed (I was at work during the 1st inspection so only got the message of when to call them back second hand). Our BCO was pretty relaxed though and passed everything, our council were also very good, if you rang before 9 am they guaranteed a same day site visit they also checked over the submission with me when I went to drop off the application. All this was pre covid though.
