Can someone please advise at what stage the Case Manager gets involved in looking  at PIP reviews…
is it at the beginning/ midway/ end..

Sometimes it's at the beginning as well as the end. When they receive your forms they are sometimes sent straight to the DM where they will decide whether a decison can be made without the file being sent to the assessment providers. It's normal for this to take several weeks or more. I've known the DM to hold onto forms for 11 weeks before sending them to the assessment providers.

Most people have assessments even for reviews. I do know that backlogs are huge at the moment, so don't be surprised if you're waiting several months.
