Well, the Grundfos one has been fitted, supplied by Toolstation and around £110 plus the inhibitor through a cashback website. Very quiet and the heating is now toasty. Thanks for all the input, much appreciated.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle2

A nice mustard paint job?Other than that, shrugs. The Amazon one doesn't, anywhere I can see, note its power consumption.I actually thought that 'standard' ones were outlawed? Clearly not.0

The label says 55/70/100w depending on setting. There are other sellers with remarkably similar versions.Bendy_House said:The Amazon one doesn't, anywhere I can see, note its power consumption.

I think the issue is that you can't fit one and be compliant with building regs. Maybe.
I should add that I wasn't recommending this as a product - just observing that the 'old' type are still sold at a cost comparable to what they were back in the day. The increase in cost isn't down to something like cast iron costing 3x what it used to.
