Can anyone tell me if Consumer Consultancy UK is a legit site? They’ve been reaching out to me via email regarding my debts and offering ways to help and also keep offering me a hardship grant of up to £500. Their website looks legit but I didn’t contact them - they came to me. I would be interested in accepting their help but I just feel these days there’s so many scams out there and I can’t seem to verify if they are legit or not. Thanks

Allegedly been going 15 years but no trustpilot reviews.  Various charities might be more helpful

Yeah I think that’s what’s had me question it - that there’s no trustpilot reviews at all. I have been in touch with stepchange as well so that’s probably I better route to go. Thanks

They are what`s known as "lead generators" for debt management companies, they pass your details to "3rd parties" who can then (hopefully) sell you a debt solution.

Best to avoid like the plague, never take debt advice from someone who wants to profit from you.
