I bought my daughter a pair of school shoes in September and now the sole is coming away on one of the shoes.
Am I able to return them to the shop after 10 weeks of wear? I do have the receipt. Just not sure if its too late by now. Thanks for any help.

Yes. A pair of shoes should last longer than two months.

Also, if you buy from Clarks, their website says "Return faulty goods within 6 months for a full refund or exchange."
But retailers have to take action, either repair or refund, if goods are faulty and not 'fit for purpose'.

As they're less than 6 months old it would be up to the retailer to prove that the problem *wasn't* a manufacturing/design defect - i.e. they'd have to show that you had caused the problem somehow.

Great, thank you both. I will go to the shop tomorrow and ask to exchange them.0
