Parking notice

I recently received a parking notice, I had paid via the “just park app” but after getting the parking notice and looking at my receipt I realised that I had paid for the carpark opposite to the one I parked on, just wondering where I stand with this should I appeal or just pay the notice.
Both car parks work with “just park” I just went with the location the app said I was.
