Hi
We have a load of loft insulation which is over the rafters in the garage, plan was to convert into a room but we are looking to move so I putting the garage back to being a garage.
Its a fair amount, 300mm deep and the garage is 5m x 3m.
Nothing wrong with it, probably a year old.
It came compressed so am I best to try and compress it as much as possible, bag it and stick it for free on Facebook or Gumtree etc?
Unsure how much would go into a standard bin bag and if its worth doing several tip runs instead.

Put it on freecycle - someone will gladly take it off your hands and will probably collect it too2

Leave it where it is ??

Freecycle, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, even eBay - some local will use that, little question.

Spread it out in the loft ?More insulation is better (up to a point), and if the loft space isn't boarded out, it would be a simple task to lay the stuff.Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -
Why get rid? Just leave it over the rafters.Otherwise: freecycle. Someone will collect. If you want money, ebay or facebook.0

why can't you just leave it where it is?

I agree with all before me, why shift it ????0

If you really don’t want it and you’re anywhere near the Cambridgeshire area I’d gladly take it off your hands.
Saying that I agree with the others, I’d just leave it where it is, although in a garage it won’t have much affect.0
