Igloo Energy customers, Eon Next. What to do?
I'm still waiting for my Igloo balance to be transferred after they went under. But just wondering what other people are doing? Immediately moving elsewhere? Or are Eon Next pretty good price wise? According to their site I am going to be paying:
Electricity
Unit rate | 21.18 p/kWh |
---|---|
Standing charge | 24.87 p/day |
Gas Tariff
Unit rate | 4.17 p/kWh |
---|---|
Standing charge | 26.12 p/day |

My Eon-Next account goes "live" tomorrow, ex Igloo.I am staying put for now. I think those prices are the same as I will be paying.I had to set up a new Direct Debit and the information received was that any Igloo credit, I have around £56, will be applied in due course.1

I’ve been having problems setting up the DD, their website went a bit flaky so I went through the set up process twice but not as yet received any confirmation by email - does anyone know if they confirm by email or not?0

They didn't email me when I set up the DD but I can see it under 'managing your account'A chicken crossing the road is poultry in motion2

I managed to set it up online without errors but no I didn't get a confirmation email. If you go to eonnext.com/dashboard/accounts/ then scroll down and click Manage my payments it will say there if it worked.
