If they have you on a PAYG meter & it’s commissioned they should just be able to do a mode change remotely to a credit meter anyway.If they can’t, offer to send them photos of the meter to show it’s in credit mode.
Make sure you get a complaint ref number so you know it’s definitely been raised.If they still do nothing about it, once it goes over 8 weeks you can go to the ombudsman or alternitively do nothing & once it’s been over 12 months, back billing rules will apply which means they can only charge you for 12 months gas usage As long as there are notes on your account & you can prove you have tried to sort this out.0
