Morning all, it's quite nice here this morning & not too cold. Just had my porridge as I left it in the microwave, went to put some washing in and forgot it was there until I felt a bit peckish just now, had to add a bit more milk to warm it up, it had gone so thickMehefin - nice to see you & hear about the animals & I've got a spare Soreen if Nels needs it.I've got my hairdresser coming at 1, and then school pick up for DGD, I don't think they're staying for tea today.Safe journey Snoozer.TA we're with V too & I still get nuisance calls, not usually night or early morning though. We keep the landline for DH business & also as it's a rubbish mobile signal around here!Right, stay wrapped up if you're cold, get well wishes if you're poorly and have a good day x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Good morning everyone
Sorry I haven't felt up to posting, I have tested positive for Covid and I feel a bit poorly. I am not surprised as our area has the highest positive results in all of England. I just hope and pray that Steve doesn't get it so bad.
I am just resting and drinking lots and all my big plans for sorting out the living room and dining room are on hold at the moment. Never mind, there is still plenty of time to get organized before the big day.
Good to read everyone's news and especially pleased to hear Nels is back at home. Hope you all have a great day whatever you are up to, take care xx12 -
I didn't post yesterday - we went to have blood tests - book them together as saves extra bus journeys - not many mask wearers on the buses. Did some shopping on the way home from the hospital. I wanted to get some boots - I have a good pair of long boots which I can get on during the morning/afternoon but if I am going out in the evening - my feet are too swollen to wear them. Went to M&. as they do a range of wide fit boots. I still couldn't fit into some of the styles in the wide fit range even going up half a size. I found two pairs of boots which were comfy and was thinking which to get when Mr F said - why not get both pairs so I did.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
