    There is a reduction that may be applied due to fire but it needs to be looked at by the manager for example.
    But as the property was not your residence it may be dismissed.

    If you are applying because of fire or flood damage, you will need to send full details of the damage plus evidence such as reports, photographs and written confirmation from your insurance company that they will not cover the Council Tax in respect of the damaged property.

  • The Lease does stipulate upkeep obligations, I had a solicitor advise me the Managing Agent is negligent on so many grounds, but you need bottomless pockets to fund solicitors and Barristers.

    We have found so many issues with the managing Agent, from this to fictional Accounting Company that does the Service charge Accounts. Any way of taking this forward costs a fortune.  The development has 300 flats so he has access to a lot of other peoples money to fend of the little people.

    Yes. Both with the Freeholder/Managing Agent & the mortgage company.

    I'm surprised that many of the other tenant's have not complained about a flat being burnt out and boarded up for 5 years.. Must really stink.
