Hi,
I have a car registered in N.I. with an old NI V5 document which I wish to give to my daughter in England. Can I use the online system from Swansea to change the owner and would I put it down as a change of owner or a sale of the vehicle?
thanks

Don't know about online - why not just try it?
They only need to know it's a change of keeper: they're not interested in who owns it.2 -
When I sold a car to my daughter I remember the online form asking if its a sale or transfer. I asked the same question on this board and the consensus was selling/transferring doesnt really matter and someone even suggested that question was largely for information purposes. The tax still gets cancelled.
As long as the DVLA get the correct new owners details then thats the main issue.1
