I use Avery laser compatible labels (sheet of address size) never had a problem -oh dear that's torn it!! - in an inkjet.Like many a manufacturer comes with a download link to a template too.1

I will look up instructions for label printing for my particular printer, also check out Black Friday deals for Dymo 450 label printer.

I did use label sheets but have found the Dymo Labelwriter better for just a quick single address label (or multiple labels with different addresses). Just select the address (or addresses), click the button and the label(s) reel out. I've got the 330 Turbo model.
