Are the rear seats removeable on a 5dr 2019 Vauxhall combo life?

There's a different 2nd row if you have the 5 seat (2/3 split bench) and a 7 seat (35/30/35 split). It looks like they both fold flat rather than can be removed though. Why do you need them to come out? Are you just intending to use it as a van?Your best bet is to go and view it and try. Or asking Vauxhall/Citroen directly as they'll be able to give you a better answer than the internet.

They'll be removable. That's probably not the same as being easily removable. There's a difference in requirements, if you spanner em out and don't intend to put em back, no problem (or little problem anyway). If you want quick and simple easily removed and replaced that's something very different entirely.1

We want to use it to sometimes transport an adult trike, the front wheel of which sits sideways in the footwell of our current (2014) Berlingo if the second row of seats are removed, and the handlebars are then close to the ceiling. However, we want the option to sometimes use the second row of seating for passengers when we are not transporting the trike.

If th4 seats are not designed to be removable you need to advise your insurance company that you have removed them.1

Any half decent dealership will let/help you try and fit the trike into the car before you commit to buying. I've always taken buggies and stuff along before, and plan to do the same with our kids trike before the pull the trigger on a Combi (I reckon with the XL I can get the trike into the car with the outer 2 2nd row seats in place and poke the front of the wheel through the centre.
If you've got the space and confidence to use one, then you might be a lot better buying a box trailer for the trike, most of which would even have a rear ramp to make the loading/unloading a lot easier.
Most adult trikes should fit in one of these (1.85m load length): https://www.iwt.co.uk/products/box-van/box-van-bv64e/
But if you needed a ramp or longer, then you'd need to jump to a braked one (2.4m+ load length): https://www.iwt.co.uk/products/box-van/box-van-braked/
