Temporarily block chimney in fireplace idea needed - kitten problem!

Random scrunched up paper (I think I used an old magazine or something), wrapped in a black bin bag and pushed just far enough up that you can't see it when looking at it from a normal angle. As it's black, you won't notice it when looking closer either. If it rustles a bit as wind blows across the top of the chimney, just fill the bag a bit more.1

If you think you have problems now, just wait until you put a Christmas tree up.

No tree for us this year - and definitely no tinsel or anything else chewable!TELLIT01 said:If you think you have problems now, just wait until you put a Christmas tree up.

Somebody should invent the kitten equivalent of a "Baby Walker". Full freedom of movement except when they try to approach within 100mm of anything vulnerable to cat destruction.

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0 -
Or dangerous!! Things I didn't even spot before they happened...attacking the hanging chord from blinds and getting tangled, fun with paper bag until he is tangled in the paper handles. Argh! I've learnt now haha.Grizzlebeard said:Somebody should invent the kitten equivalent of a "Baby Walker". A harness and an adjustable bungee cord should do the trick. Set to allow kitten to get within a foot of 'danger' and then fires it back to where it started.

That would be a Kittyapult, not a Kittywalker!TELLIT01 said:Grizzlebeard said:Somebody should invent the kitten equivalent of a "Baby Walker". Full freedom of movement except when they try to approach within 100mm of anything vulnerable to cat destruction.

I'm thinking of reporting you to the RSPK.
