Anyway to use video calling using smart TV?

I want to be able to use video calling with my 85 year old mum she is a total technophobe she does have a smart TV that she uses all day long for radio and television and can just about charge the channels and volume but that's it. I was thinking about Alexa video calling but I think it will be a one device too many and she won't be able to use it, so I'm wondering if there's any way I can use her existing TV so she can just call me using her smart TV?
