Confused with servicing car - Skoda Fabia
Comments

I would use the main dealer for the initial warranty services, and there's not a lot to do, just oil change and sometimes software updates usually, plus a quick check. Even if the local dealer is pants, they shouldn't fail this task ( and Lookers are everywhere). Sometimes the VW dealers do Skoda services as well.
Did you not get offered the cheap service plan option at the time?

So I’ve just registered my car to the mySKODA app, and it says;
Oil change.
Range left: 20,116km
Time left: 304 days
Service inspection
Range left: 22,048km
Time left: 304 days
304 days is exactly 2 years after I got the car brand new. Do I even need to bother with a service/oil change before then?"If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett

Skoda don’t seem offer service log books any more. I asked when I bought my car, and they were working on the basis that when you go to them for servicing, it’s all on the electronic system and they do a full print out so it’s not necessary.I disagree, but that’s what skoda customer services told me when I doubled checked. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1 -

My car(not a Skoda) does not have a service book. It does have an app and all services done by any main dealer are logged on this app including any detail that would previously have been in a service book. I think there is an equivalent called MySkoda.1

Skoda appear to be one of the better ones when it comes to good will, though it's almost certainly on a dealer service basis.
There are reports on Skoda forums of owners getting some generous "help" on cars 6 and 7 years old that have been serviced in the dealer network.
The MySkoda app counts down both time and range, but if you can't reset the app yourself and service outside of the network, the apps useless and you will need the indicator reset and keep hold of the invoices to prove the history.1 -
Change oil and filter if its black and gritty ,

My Skoda is serviced annually and is logged online with Skoda.
I do get a print out of what was done. I bought it second hand and the previous service printouts are included in the bumf I got with it.0
