The title says it all, my wife applied for a phone, got turned down, - only found out when the parcels didn't turn up, first one showed as no order, tried again went through - no parcel, phoned them up, order cancelled suspected fraud. Can't tell us why, no one to speak to, no way of finding out. So i tried, same thing happened, If there is a problem at our address or with one or both of us surely their should be some way of finding out. Both of our credit score are really good with no problems. We are going to need a loan over xmas for house repairs so we are concerned that this could stop us. Does anyone have any ideas how we can find out what is going on

Check your credit files for any unusual activity. Your credit scores are not used in credit decisions, so see if they is anything you don't recognise, or adverse history.
Remember to check all files for each of you.0 -
No credit files are fine, they told us that themselves, also checked both and there are no problems, it seemed to bean issue once it went to the taking the upfront payment. We have never had issues before.0

It may be a location issue if you're in a high fraud risk area.
Also check your CIFAS files just in case.
If not, and all 6 files are ok and you're on the ER, try elsewhere.0 -
Perhaps you wife needs to apply in person. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

I believe you are able to do a SAR - Subject Access Request to both National Hunter & CIFA's to understand what information they hold on you, whilst it may not paint the entire picture it may point towards something.
You could also query with your bank if there is anything going on that would have prevented a payment being made - i.e they blocked it due to suspected fraudulent activity? If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.
