Mouse double click

My mouse is starting to double click when I only click once, which is becoming a real pain in the bum.

I tried my old mouse to see if that was any different and that seemed worse!

Does anyone know what the problem is?

You can adjust the mouse double-click speed in Settings, Devices, Mouse, unless you have a separate utility for the mouse. Worth a try.
Perhaps try cleaning the mouse contacts, but may be time for a new mouse.

I tried adjusting the settings, but it didn't make much difference.

Just bought a new mouse and it seems fine so far.

    Cheers for the advice.
  • There's a broken button, you need to disassemble the mouse completely and fix the spring. It's easier to buy a new mouse.
