FAX header -switching off

On FAX machines is there a way to turn Off the Fax Header that is printed at the top of a fax you receive:

Date, Time, From: tel no, To: tel no

Have looked at my fax machine instructions, cannot see any way to turn it off.

Is it possible to stop this header information being printed when you receive a FAX ??

You might stand a better chance of finding the relevant information if you tell us what model of fax machine you've got, then someone can download the manual who knows about these things and see if your machine has that particular feature.

They may even be able to sugest an alternative product that has the feature, or better still name it so we all learn what it is
