Cheapest kwh fuel providers
Hi all. Am a newbie on here and hoping someone can help. Eon Next has taken on my Igloo account, but I want to look around for the cheapest energy prices. I know there are no switching deals available at the moment, so am trying to find a website that gives current kwh prices charged by providers. So far, I have drawn a blank. Does anyone know of such a website - or wherher fuel prices are now fairly similar wherever you go? Thanks!

They're pretty much the same everywhere (the only significantly cheaper supplier is Neon Reef but they're not taking on new customers).

Put in your usage and you'll see available suppliers. You can then select individual ones and see their tariff details.

They are not that much cheaper, and they are not allowed to take on new customers.QrizB said:They're pretty much the same everywhere (the only significantly cheaper supplier is Neon Reef but they're not taking on new customers).

Logicor-Energy, I think, are cheaper than Neon Reef - but they have chosen not to take on new customers at this time too.
Don't forget Neo Energy! Last offering by them was cheap, but they say they have sold out of that cheap tariff and have also elected not to take on new customers at this time. But you can join their waiting list if anyone is interested

(btw, we will charge quite a hefty standing charge. Say £1m per day per fuel)
What is surely important is the overall cost. That is what comparison sites offer you.
(but options are very limited at present as most suppliers are not taking on new customers, unless as part of a SoLR process)
So no point looking at tariffs today - they will probably change by the time suppliers start taking on new customers again.

As above .KWH is only part of the overall price , especially as daily standing charges have risen a lot .2

In normal circumstances it would be best to start comparing with Citizens Advice and 'Which? Switch', but right now you might as well stay on E.On Next's SVT and wait for some sort of normality to return to the energy market. The kWh rates, daily charges and exit fees of anything you find on a price comparison website are unlikely to be attractive.1

Thanks, all. I have been taking the daily standing charge into account too, but all the prices I can find are pre-price hikes. Will stay put, for the time being.0

Some of the tariffs available have daily charges of around 30p, one was 48p for electric and 45p for gas that's over £175 for electric and over £164 for gas those two SC's nearly make up my total electric usage minus around £30.Someone please tell me what money is0
