Distance between incoming gas supply and CCU?

I've had an EICR and the consumer unit was flagged as being too close to the incoming gas supply. Apparently there should be at least a 30cm gap between them.

Can anyone confirm this is the case?

I think regulations state that 150mm is the minimum distance between a gas supply pipes and the consumer unit/electricity meter.

The distance in the regulations in 150mm from any electrical circuit cabpable of creating a spark, so a socket, RCD, consumer etc. It can be less if a non-combustible barrier is between the two (eg brick wall), guidance is for a larger distance where possible. In many legacy properties the distance is less, but not up to current regulations, it does not usually matter unless you plan on renting.
