Warranty issue, unable to find my receipt

Morning all,
in March 2019 I purchased a shark hoover from my local Tesco (I have a screenshot of the purchase via my online banking).
I have an issue with the shark and having purchased an extended warranty I thought this would be simple, however they are adamant I need the receipt.
I have been into the store, told them what date and which card I used, however they were unable to help telling me to call head office.
Again I spoke to head office, again unable to help.
I visited my bank, asking if they could do anything, again unable to help.
Am I missing a trick or is it the case that no one can actually assist in obtaining this receipt for me?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks.

Does the warranty actually say you need to produce the retailer's receipt? You may instead wish to pursue the retailer under your statutory rights (depends what the problem is), as that doesn't require you to have the receipt.0

Managed to find this yesterday from Shark UK:
"Should you need to use your manufacturer’s guarantee we will need your receipts to verify the information you have supplied to us is correct. The inability to produce valid receipts may invalidate your manufacturer’s guarantee."

I am afraid the answer is simple and doesn't help you in this instance.
For an extended warranty (or anything over and above your statutory rights) they can insist on whatever terms were specified which could well include providing the original receipt.
For a claim under your statutory rights (which doesn't seem to be the case here) they can only insist on "reasonable proof of purchase". That could be perhaps a bank statement, credit card slip or even possibly a witness who saw you buy the item! In extreme, if you took it to court, whatever the judge found reasonable.0
