Covid WFH tax relief / self-assessment

Options
I am trying to fill in my Self-Assessment tax online for 2020/2021. I wish to claim WFH tax relief due to Covid as advertised widely but cannot find the relevant section on the form.

I don't need to claim for any other expenses - my return otherwise is that of the average PAYE employee (I only do SA return due to Child Benefit).

Can someone please let me know exactly where I can find the WFH section of the form please and then what I need to fill in from there?  I have been looking/Googling  the past hour without luck - screen grabs, idiot-proof instructions etc especially welcome.

Many thanks

This link gives the option to claim online if you are completing a self assessment.

All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

There is no WFH section on a Self Assessment return.

When you tailored your return how did you answer the question about whether you wanted to claim employment related expenses?

Thanks v much, think I have found it under Employment 25. I need to enter an amount - would that be £6 x 52 weeks basically?
  • Not sure of the box number online but if you had to WFH due to Covid-19 then yes, it's £312.

Which will usually save you £62 or £124 in tax but may be more if it helps reduce HICBC.
