You have posted on a board for holiday deals, bargains and offers. I'll flag to a board monitor to see if your post can be moved to a forum where you will have a better response from the MSE community - @heatherw_01.
In the meantime -
- which holiday company and was this a package or just accommodation only?
- which hotel?
- have you contacted the holiday company and if so what have they said?
- how did you pay for your holiday?1 -
The holiday company teletext
was all inc
blue sea Callao in Tenerife
I contacted the holiday company on 5th October 2021 as soon as we returned home no reply yet

Maxine63, bad news, Teletext Holidays ceased trading two weeks ago. For a refund, contact the Travel Trust Association who were their regulator. If it is any consolation, you are far from the only person who arrived on holiday in October to find the accommodation hadn't been booked or paid for, or in some cases cancelled!0

Oh dear a combination of issues.
The hotel’s website makes no mention of being closed which I would expect as a good practice if they are shut. I hope that after finding that closure notice on the hotel/apartment door that there were instructions to go to one of the hotel’s sister properties. Was alternative accommodation provided or did you have to find your own and pay again?
Teletext’s recent closure might answer the point on not being notified in advance of travel to the
issue. A very unfortunate double issue problem.
Sadly writing to complain to Teletext won’t get you anywhere. The business is closed.0 -
No alternative hotel was provided no mention at all on the notice which was on the door so has to find our own hotel for the rest of the week which cost a further £680.00 plus taxi to and from the hotel and airport. We managed to get a temp hotel for night but has to move on tnat cost £90.00 for night then booked another hotel aswell as taxis.0

Our holiday was from 24th September 2021 to 2nd October 2021 so I sent email as soon as possible which was on 5th October 20210

Given above then I would follow @Alan_Bowen suggests and contact the TTA with an account of what happened, plus bills for your new accommodation and taxis. You won’t get compensation for the very unfortunate situation but hopefully they will consider your claim for your extra hotel/transfer costs or refund you for the accommodation you paid Teletext for.0
