British Gas Evolve free electricity week incentive

Just checked my monthly bill. As an ex Simplicity customer I’m due a week of free electricity after 6 months. Just got it - except they’ve debited my account instead of crediting it! No explanation on bill. Just taken over an hour to query this with BGE - this is correcting an over-credit the previous month and I should have been sent an email - which I wasn’t. Poor customer service.
