Section 75 - Trade-ins

in Credit cards
Hi
I am currently making a section 75 claim with my credit card company (Tesco Bank) I was mis sold 2 new saddles that were never going to fit my horse. As part of the sale I traded in 2 of my own saddles as part payment. I have put my S-75 claim in the for the full amount of the new saddles - the money I paid the company plus the trade-in value the company gave me for my used saddles. Tesco have now twice asked me to show them how I paid for the balance (ie the amount they can't see on my credit card statements = the trade-in value I was given for my old saddles)
Am I correct that I should be able to claim the full amount or can I wave the value of my trade in saddles good bye? I obviously no longer have my traded in saddles as the company took them then sold them on as part payment for my new saddles. I'm worried that the bank are going to try and wriggle out of paying the full amount
Many thanks SW

Your receipt should show the trade in value. Do you still have it?
The bank won't 'wriggle out' of anything. The s75 claim, if valid, will be processed in line with the case evidence.0 -
Thanks, yes the sales order and invoice that I received from the company both show the trade-in saddle and value. I have sent these over to them twice now with the line highlighted. There are other discount lines on the invoice also, as being a good MSE follower I bartered hard, so I hope they are not thinking that the trade-in lines are a further discount.
Just wanted to make sure that trade-in's still counted as payment and therefore I can claim back that cost.0
