    thanks, I agree, the only reason I spoke to the EA is because it’s the sellers solicitors I needed an update from, my solicitor has said they can’t make any further progress until they have the sales contract so I spoke to the EA to find out why they hadn’t yet sent the contract and this was the reason they gave

    Which, like I said above, is a bogus reason. They can get on with everything else while you wait for the title registration to complete. Perhaps they have other reasons for wanting to slow things down.
  • We are in a very similar situation. How long did it take for this to occur once it was expedited? We are in a short timeline and are deciding whether to withdraw our offer
