What info is on Octopus/Avro accounts
I'm having a bit of trouble with my new Octopus account, having been transferred from Avro.
I started off having two accounts, one being a new one and the other an old account left over from when Octopus was an SOLR before. I contacted Octopus and they told me which one was correct.
However, when I try to enter readings it shows last readings as of 2018. I didn't enter readings as I thought this would automatically generate a huge false bill. Presumably that account is actually the old one.
I've queried this again with Octopus but in the meantime, can people tell me what is showing in their Octopus account - any details about last Avro readings and the transferred balance maybe?

Personally I would put the readings in the new account if you can. Octopus should have closed the old account down after they had your final readings and any outstanding bill was paid.Someone please tell me what money is0

My meter reading page still looks like this, but I know I am lagging behind most people.

Thanks but I would still like someone to tell me what info is shown on their new Octopus account. Are the last Avro meter readings shown? Does it show the Avro credit/debit balance brought forward?wild666 said:Personally I would put the readings in the new account if you can. Your Octopus Accounts will probably each have different Account numbers.
Put your readings into the Online page with the same Acc.No. as on your latest Octopus emails or Letters relating to the Avro changes.
Even if Octo accidentally generate an erroneous bill because of the strain their systems are under they're usually very good at sorting these things out.
p.s. At the moment. other than the page being purple, people seem to be having vastly different experiences with the amount of information currently showing online.

Once Avro's administrators issue your final bill, we'll update your Octopus balance and your transfer will be complete. We'll be in touch as soon as we know more.Mine has the above message, but further below it does show the tariff name & rates that I am on & the last readings that I entered with a zero balance.0

No it just shows reads that I put in around time Octopus asked for some a while ago, no bills yet from either Avro or Octopus.1

This was happening to me a few weeks back. I emailed octy and after a couple of replies they had it all sorted out. They offered to remove my old account number to which I agreed to and so the account is now working. They also said that when I set up the DD they asked if I realised it was for a variable amount and asked if I wanted a fixed amount to which I agreed.JohnB47 said:I'm having a bit of trouble with my new Octopus account, having been transferred from Avro.

So only now have to wait for Avro final account and that I don't expect to happen any time soon.
Overall I have been relatively happy with the way Octy is doing.1 -
Mine is showing a balance of zero with no readings or payments, although I did submit readings when asked at the end of September. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.1
