UC LCW and employment and wellbeing schemes

The Jobcentre referred me to an employment and wellbeing scheme (not the Work and Health Programme) while I was waiting for my WCA.
I signed up to it just after I got my WCA decision. I had a face-to-face appointment at the Jobcentre shortly after that, and they told me when I got there that they hadn't realised I'd been awarded LCW so there was no need for a face to face appointment. They didn't change my commitments, which state, "spend 2 hours a week preparing for work."
It was booked before my WCA but is the first Jobcentre appointment usually 3 months after the WCA?
The employment/wellbeing scheme seems to have stopped contacting me because I couldn't go on a trip they told me about, and I missed a call from them a week or two later.
It seems that this scheme has decided to leave the ball in my court, but can the Jobcentre sanction me if I don't continue on it? They know I'm signed up for it but it's not in my Claimant Commitment. The work coach asked me about it at the Jobcentre and said, "Just keep going" to the programme.
