Thank you but the one I’m buying is completely out of order to the list on that link

What are they doing in a different order on your build? The link I posted is usually how things are done.

Well it’s painted 70% with bathrooms boiler and kitchen all going in before end of November
the gardens already landscaped and the drive is paved already
so after that it’s missing banisters, internal doors, and skirting boards
it’s obviously exchange on a work to date toward end of January
I just don’t know if progress is on track0 -
Ask the builder when it will be finished. I'm betting it still won't be before the provisional target date still.DeletedUser said:Well it’s painted 70% with bathrooms boiler and kitchen all going in before end of November

It definitely sounds doable for end of January. It could even be sooner, but the main problem at the moment is reliable trades and availability of materials. That throws even the most organised off. It also depends what stages other houses are at in the plan. If others need to be done first, they will be done first, but you do have leeway in your dates.Builder next door has been at 6 houses for nearly two years. The house next door to me has had brickwork up but no roof for months. Roof is on now but I don't much fancy the state of the cavity wall insulation.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Which builder is it? Do they have a half year or year end in December? If so, most trades will be working on plots for CMLs and other plots will be left.
Are kitchen and bathroom delivery dates confirmed to you know?
I wonder why they painted before skirtings, are skirtings wood (not painted I mean).
Do you still need bathroom tiling?
I would say to aim for early Feb, to allow for delivery delays, Christmas shut down and January bad weather. Anything early is a bonus.
Have you had a meet the builder?Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

the bathrooms are there ready to put in
kitchen is here this week
everything is there to go in radiators boiler (all piping done etc)
tiles are there to go on
apparently booked in for this week
we are flooring the place
it’s a small builder not a national chain

Timber shortages of supply that's a global issue. Just in time supply chains don't work in pandemics.DeletedUser said:
