    Thanks - I’m aware how the process works. 🙂 Utility Warehouse will not simply accept our readings (which they have) though - they require the closing reading from the previous supplier (via industry validation) as well, and that is what they don’t yet have. It’s being chased, and they have apologised that it wasn’t picked up on sooner.

    With respect, UW CS do not know what they are talking about. The validation process is designed to manage a transfer of supply without the consumer providing any readings. There is no reason for any new supplier not to accept the readings that you have provided but under industry procedures they may not end up being the transfer readings post validation.
