Morning, hugs if you need one.
Cold but clear morning here, sky is a bit grey.
Veg prepped for supper.
Roast chicken and all the trimmings, no idea if we will have a dessert.6 -
Afternoon everyone
Just been having a catch up with my lunch.
Little one stayed last night and slept through till almost 7. Unfortunately the alarm for her milk feed went off about 2.30am as she had got the tube tangled around herself... I spent 10 minutes or so sorting it but then took a while to go back to sleep. It's quite loud but didn't disturb her!
Been down to sit with dad this morning while mam was at church....did his banking and some other bits and watched some of the service at the Cenotaph...he can't actually see much on the screen but like to 'see' it for the 2 minutes silence. Though he talked all the way through it!
It's a lovely bright afternoon so I'm going to get the grass cut front and back , then that will be done for the winter. Other than that I'll have a read of my Sunday Times.
Hope everyone has a good day10 -
Hi everyone.
Am a long time lurker on the forum but have finally taken the plunge to join. Hope you don't mind me joining your thread. I've been reading it for ages and thought it was about time I said hello!.
Quiet Sunday here, weather is pretty grey but dry. Currently have some laundry on the airer to check and put away later and have done some batch cooking for the week ahead. Currently work Mon-Wed in the office so like to have easy dinners ready when I get home so batch cooking works for me. Baked spuds for tea and a packed lunch to make for tomorrow, otherwise I'll just be lounging around.
Hope you all have a good day13 -
A lovely autumn day here
we’ve been out to pick up a sofa (well two) which we’re an absolute bargain. I’d been saving for a new one and nearly reached the target but them I noticed one on Facebook market place nearly brand new for a quarter of the price. We did go out for lunch on the way back but nice, cheap and cheerful. We’ve took the puppy out for a walk this afternoon but he’s still not aware that he can do a wee, he still waits til he gets back to the house ……. Argggghhhhhhhh.Bubble bath and now candles are on and it’s back to watching midnight mass on Netflix6
