Return to UK COVID test query

Morning all

Thanks for looking in, and I hope someone can point me in the right direction for what I’m looking for.

My question is regarding our transit via Heathrow and Manchester airports to get back to the Isle of Man on our return from holiday in December.

Our flight from Antigua is scheduled to land at 08:25 on the Sunday morning, with us spending the Sunday night at a Heathrow hotel.

Our Heathrow to Manchester flight departs at 10:50 on the Monday morning, with our Manchester to the Isle of Man flight at 16:35 on the Monday afternoon.

We’re obviously over the 24 hour time frame for no testing being required, but I can’t find anything about being in transit for the 24 hours to the 32 hours period we’re scheduled to be in transit for.

Do we need to get tested for the period of time 08:25 to 16:35 on the Monday ?

Where can the information covering this be located please ?

You need to do a day 2 test, anytime from landing at Heathrow to the end of day 2 (Tuesday). There is a testing site at Heathrow airport you could use, or have postal tests sent to your Isle of Man address.
