SPV BTL mortgage broker

I'm looking for recommendation for a mortgage broker for a BTL via a SPV.
The property I'm looking to purchase is c£130k and has a commercial premise at the ground floor in a purpose built apartment block. I have tried L&C (which I have used on my residential mortgage on multiple occasions without any issues) but they seem to struggle slightly with my situation and are unable to find me a suitable mortgage. John Charcoal on the other hand is really good but charge a fixed fee of c£1.5k fee which is quite steep (would make sense if I were buying a more expensive property say).
I wouldn't mind paying for the service but paying >1% of the property value for brokerage is a lot and I'm wondering if there's a middle ground for some cheaper alternatives?
Thanks a lot.

It is painful work that we would not do without a fee approaching 1% on that size of deal Evan. £1,500 seems much too rich though.I am a Mortgage Broker

You'll find that a lot of brokers will just charge themselves out of this kind of business.
The fee needs to cover the btl case but also the other case you cant do as the btl one takes so much longer.
Maybe ask your accountant or tax advisor for a recommendation as they are likely to know who helped their previous clients.0
