Morning, hugs if you need one.
I did not post yesterday, I had to take DB to get his second cataract done, so a mixed up day, we managed home just as it became dark, phew, I was crackered.
Off shortly to take a couple of old phones I have sold, then it will be life back to normal, apart from watching DB does as he is told and gets his eye drops.
Might drop back later.9 -
Hi everyone,
We are still battling against this horrid bug and the subsequent disturbed sleep we are suffering from, last night was one of the worst. I hope I'm better by Sunday because I've got my booster booked for then, Steve also has his cataract op on Tuesday, so he needs to be better by then.
We have been limping along with meals as well although I managed a veggie and ham pasta sauce last night, Steve cooked the pasta. We've got some breaded fish in the freezer and will have that with fries and mushy peas.
I'm doing a lot of hand sewing while sitting watching TV and I'm nearly halfway through my 12 days of Christmas decorations. We've removed the phones from our landline so we no longer have nuisance calls - we hear it ringing sometimes but ignore it quite easily.
Have a good day.11 -
Finally put my leftover makes back in my craft storage room and tidied up. I made two Birthday cards - one had to go in the post today so Mr F posted it when he went for the local paper.
Set up my sewing machine and did a couple of repairs for Dd and a hand sewing one. Dd had given me a tee shirt of my Dgs to see if I could get rid of a stain. Tried vanish bar and had to resort to bleach on a cotton bud. I think it is a lot better - hard to tell when it is still wet.
First day indoors for me for a week.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
