Help with pc please.

Hi when my pc switches on a message comes up saying MPC Error. LoadLibrary Tray Frame.dll Failed:126. Can anyone suggest what I can do to rectify this please . Thank you

Thanks for starting a new thread , tell us what model and make of PC and what operating system it run e,g, Windows 10/7

Assuming Windows 10, do a so-called "three finger salute" - hold down CTRL, ALT and DEL.

You want Task Manager and then the Startup Tab.  Something in here is probably causing that message.  Make a note of what is currently "Enabled", then highlight each one and press the Disable button bottom right.  Once they're all disabled restart the computer.  If the message goes away then repeat but enable each item one at a time and restart.  The last one you enable is causing the message.

If you disable them all and you still get the message, that's something else.

Thank you Neil. Yes it is Windows 10 . I ll try that as soon as I can later and see.

Try Googling "MPC Error. LoadLibrary Tray Frame.dll Failed:126", you'll find a number of possible causes and solutions.

This suggests you have installed MPC cleaner, which is useless.

I've got onto start up after task manager all are now on disabled apart from avast av launch software which won't disable. When I go to bottom right and click on disable there that doesn't work either

I can't even work my way round this techie board now as it's changed from when I used to use it.

Some remember how you used it and on other parts of the board, roundly abused the people that helped you on it.
