I've been reading the NEWBIE post regarding Debt Recovery Plus and the advice not to phone them. I wish I had read this first before I did phone them.
I have acknowledged the parking fine, is this my first mistake. Can I do anything now or so I still pay?

Still pay? What are you thinking? Did you agree to pay, of course you don't!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

when you say "acknowledged" what do you mean? Accepted liability or simply said you received it?{Signature removed by Forum Team - if you are not sure why we have removed your signature, it's probably Gladstones}2

I've phoned up to say I've received the letters and tried to get out of paying them but to no avail.
I first phoned when I received a letter from QDR Solicitors threatening legal action. Set up a payment plan with them and that has since been withdrawn by Enterprise Parking Solutions. Smart Parking Limited are taking over all business so having to go through DRP now.0 -

I already have phoned them. I did receive a PCN and ignored it and ignored it. Now it has gotten to this stage, how can it be a scam?0

Please start from the beginning.
Tell us what happened, where, and when, and what has happened since.
Never ever 'phone a parking company.
Ignore powerless debt collectors. The only thing they can do is send you poor quality bog paper.
What happened when you complained to the landowner?
