We have had a new quote for£118 it seems too low, we are currently with Rias who have quoted £161 renewal . Does anyone know anything about Zenith? Should we be suspicious? Thanks

All insurance companies are as good as one another, until you need to make a claim :-)Have you checked that the policies cover the same things? There are typically loads of "options" available - the excess amount (both voluntary and compulsory), is a courtesy car provided if yours is in for repair, legal cover, windscreen cover (with or without an excess?), is business cover included as standard, and so on. You may find, for example, that a courtesy car isn't included in the cheaper quote, whereas it is in the more expensive one. Any of these options may or may not be important to you, but whether they're included as standard or extras at an additional cost is a very common reason for differences in premiums.0

I was quoted £420 (2 cars - multicar quote) by my current insurer, which was less than last year. However i went on a comparison website and was quoted £305 for a better level of cover. This was not the cheapest, but I had not heard of the other companies. I went back to my current insurer and said I didn't want to renew with them and they dropped their quoted price to match...always worth a phone call!

Tried that but RIAS won't budge.
