Lateral flow or PCR does it matter

that’s what I was wondering ……….it hasn’t been registered with randox but maybe it would come up as used against the flight last month .. hoping someone will knowsheramber said:Does the reference number link to the flight used at that time , so it would be linked to the wrong flight if you used it now.Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!0 -
when you purchased your day 2 lateral flow test what flight details did you use?0

you said you used a paid lateral flow when you returned instead of the paid PCR....what information did you give when you purchased the paid lateral flow day 2 test?....or did you use a free NHS test instead of an official paid test?0

It didn't when I did that a few weeks ago but things change. If I was questioned at the border I would have simply explained (the truth) that the first test arrived too late to use but it still hasn't been registered with Randox and is therefore a brand new test ready to use on day 2. I didn't get asked.jay1964 said:

I don't think it's linked to flight number until you fill in PLF. You just buy test for Day2. Think about people buying tests for Eurounnel and ferry travel. There's no ferry number and you may not know when you come back and what time.jay1964 said:

To give you example: I bought Day 2 & 8 for roadtrip to the Alps but didn't go. Instead I used Day 2 test for a flight booked last minute. So my test wasn't attached or linked to anything, because I bought it before I even knew when I was going exactly on road trip.
The same for another tests I bought with different provider, Day 2 & 8, again road trip without exact travel dates when buying. I used Day2 only after coming back. I plan to use the same code and Day 8 test for Day 2, if I travel again. Why pay again for the tests, if I already have. Also have antigen test from Chronomics, which I didn't need and plan to use it in future.
