Sealant vs Caulk for Interior Window Frames?

Hi all,
We've got PVC window frames in our house.
I've removed some old beading, as I hate the stuff.
Where the window frame meets the wall, there is a small gap (no larger than 3mm).
Would it be better use a frame sealant or decorators caulk, or no difference at all? I'm asking, as I've recently picked up 12 tubes of the decorators caulk, thinking it would be a good all-rounder to use (as I will need to caulk gaps in skirting, architrave, etc later). But, have now found out about this frame sealant.
Both are water-based, single component, flexible acrylic caulks.

The only difference I can see is that the frame sealant claims to be mould-resistant. Though after some digging in the Q&A section, two people have queried this, as the actual packaging doesn’t state it is mould-resistant anywhere.
Not uncommon to get small spots of mould around window frames, especially during the winter months.

Caulk shrinks, but IMO is fine for 3mm.Personally, I stopped taking seriously all 'mould resistant' claims, and if mould appears, it'll be more than 3mm.0

should use caulk or filler internally . If theve been trimmed with a flat plastic trim . the silicone between the trim and frame and caulk the trim to wall . You can also get a silicone bleed if you seal plaster
