Any advice at all on what to do ag this moment in time would be appreciated.
We are at point of exchange to sell our property ( we do not have a property to purchase).

I am seriously considering engaging another solicitor to complete the process.
As our buyers are happy with searches, our response to their queries etc, there should be no need to repeat those.
The buyer's solicitor has already agreed the contract.
I believe, but am open to correction, that the remaining work is "just" to exchange contracts, redeem our mortgage and to update land registry.

We did look into changing our solicitors but were told that to get the paperwork across and to change the solicitors name on the mortgage offer would have taken 3-4 weeks, which would have been no use to use as our mortgage offer expires on the18th of December.

There is a Facebook group that I have been sent that has people sharing information that may be beneficial to you?

Just spoke to my solicitor finally after trying to reach her for well over a week, before the system outage even started. She said the general consensus says that the system should be back on early next week. The whole saga with this company, again not including the system outage, really has taken over my life and caused so much stress and sleepless nights. I obviously want this to be done and dusted so me and my family get our first home, but just so I can get a full nights sleep and get on with my life.
