Credit on account with Bulb energy
I have quite a lot of cash on credit with Bulb. (~£600)
I saw they were about to go bust but I haven't heard if that was confirmed yet.
I'm not sure if it is best to switch to another provider in case I would lose my cash on credit, or stay with Bulb in case my credit would be protected. Can anyone tell me if that is right and if I should start to look for another provider?

If you are on a decent rate, moving now is stupid.
All credits are protected anyway in case of provider failure.
In the meantime, contact them and ask them to reduce your DD based on your credit total.1 -

just checking. Is the credit based on actual meter readings or estimates? If estimates, I think you can assume that you will not be in credit that amount.0

last meter reading was October so its probably quite accurate0

Some Bulb customers are currently voluntarily increasing their payments to try and help them out...Totally nuts. I bet bulb wouldn't be helping them out if they were in trouble.
