Conservatory Quotes

I have had a conservatory company out for a quote and said I will be getting further quotes to compare. I was told that Martin Lewis now says it's not worth getting three quotes as companies are less likely to barter so you get a better deal if you go with the first quote.
I find this hard to believe. Is this correct or are they trying to scam me into accepting their quote?

I watch Martin Lewis & read some of the articles. I have never heard him say do not get quotes. I would get 3 quotes anyway making sure all have the same spec. They may not barter but some companies overcharge because they want to make extra money since lockdown may have effected thier profits. The only time ML has said do nothing is regarding Gas /Electric suppliers

What, they told you that Martin Lewis said that?? Martin would never say that. It doesn't even make sense.I wouldn't use them on the basis of that outright lie. That makes me so angry!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
